This handbook is a collaborative project between the Lough Erne Landscape Partnership, The Armagh Rhymers and the Aughakillymaude Mummers of County Fermanagh.

This book is designed to offer an introduction to the tradition and practice of mumming in Ireland. Included are practical resources to bring mumming to life with a class or community group.

Included in the handbook is the background and origins of mumming, benefits of using mumming with your class or group, character ideas and lines, ideas for poetry and dance and 2 scripts.

Also included are child-friendly resources on creating a character and costume and an introduction to straw craft.
